In this current messy age of the internet there are hundreds of separate and fragmented ways that enable us to manage the same things. My new favourite method for subscribing to something on the internet is Google+. It currently doesn’t have the functionality to create a page for a thing that isn’t a person, but you can follow me, the person, on Google+, where I will put links, conversations and new articles on my public stream when they arrive. Don’t worry, I won’t add you to a circle or anything. I know it can be hard putting up with photos of your favourite web developer’s cat.
Alternatively Calm & Madness, the blog, has a Twitter presence. You can follow Calm & Madness through Twitter on @calmblog. Again, you’ll be subscribing to links of new articles and the occasional comment or relevant or interesting link to an article I’ve found on the internet and feel the need to share.
If you’re really old school, probably with a fluffy beard and an old jumper, running a hacked-up version of Debian on your home-built machine, you might be after the Calm & Madness RSS 2.0 or Atom feed. This feed is generated straight from the back of WordPress for the most recent posts. It should cover all your needs.
Calm & Madness isn’t yet on Facebook or Feedburner. Maybe one day…
